MYOMBE RESERVE:THE GREAT APE DOMAIN TO OPEN JUNE 17, BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA
 WHAT: "Myombe Reserve: The Great Ape Domain," a lush, tropical forest habitat for six lowland gorillas and nine chimpanzees, will open on June 17 at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Fla. Inside this three-acre habitat, visitors will take a self-guided tour through shrouds of mist and fog to view the natural behavior of these magnificent primates as they roam freely in a tropical forest setting.
 HIGHLIGHTS: The opening ceremony will include remarks from:
 --Joseph C. Fincher, executive vice president and general manager of Busch Gardens Tampa
 --Dr. Frederick A. King, director of Yerkes Primate Research Center
 --Susan Busch Transou, director of national advertising & product development, Busch Entertainment Corporation
 Additionally, Dr. Frans de Waal, a research professor at the Yerkes Regional Primate Center and expert on chimpanzees, will conduct two special presentations on primates in the park's Tangiers Theatre.
 WHEN: Wednesday, June 17, 1992
 8-9 a.m.: Breakfast and opening ceremony
 1:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.: Presentations by Dr. Frans de Waal
