MUSTANGS BLAZING AGAIN TEAMMATES SHOOT FOR TEXAS FINALS.

VALENCIA - An annual contender for the Pony World Series title, the William S. Hart Mustang mustang [Sp. mesteño=a stray], small feral horse of the W United States. Mustangs are descended from escaped Native American horses, which in turn were descended from horses of North African blood, brought to the New World by the Spanish c.1500.  baseball team is hot once again.

The 10-year-olds, coming off a championship victory in the Hart Sectionals, are hoping to qualify for the international finals in Irving, Texas Irving (pronounced 'er-ving') is a city located in the U.S. state of Texas within Dallas County. After hitting 12 home runs and outscoring opponents 60-14 through five decisive Sectional victories - including a 7-0 win over Agoura in Monday's final - Hart (5-0) looks to continue the momentum beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Lynwood Regionals.

The winner of the eight-team Regional advances to the West Zone tournament in Chino Chino (chē`nō), city (1990 pop. 59,682), San Bernardino co., S Calif.; founded 1887, inc. 1910. It is the business and processing center of a diversified farming (notably dairying) area. , which is final qualifier for the World Series.

``We've been pounding the ball. I actually have a sign as the third-base coach for a three-run home run,'' manager Henry Balta said. ``We're pitching really well, too.''
