MUSIC ARTISTS SPOTLIGHTED ON 'INSIDE WORD,' ARTISTS SUCH AS VINCE GILL, LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM, EMMYLOU HARRIS TREAT AUDIENCES TO A 'PRIVATE CONCERT' ON E!

 MUSIC ARTISTS SPOTLIGHTED ON 'INSIDE WORD'
 Artists Such as Vince Gill, Lindsey Buckingham,
 Emmylou Harris Treat Audiences to a 'Private Concert' on E!
 LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Top recording artists from the worlds of rock, rap, country and reggae are performing live acoustic songs on E! Entertainment Television's "Inside Word."
 Kenny Loggins, scheduled to visit "Inside Word" on Tuesday, Sept. 15, will perform an acoustic version of a song off his latest album.
 Artists such as Lindsey Buckingham, Vince Gill, Jimmy Cliff, Mary-Chapin Carpenter and George Thorogood have already visited "Inside Word" for conversation and song with host Michael Castner. The artists perform their music unaccompanied and acoustically.
 Deborah Adler Myers, vice president of programming and development for E!, said, "'Inside Word' provides recording artists with a comfortable, intimate setting, which has allowed for many wonderful musical moments."
 Airing at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, "Inside Word" has also had a host of musical guests pay a visit to the set to discuss their latest work. They include Charlie Watts, Michael Feinstein, Melissa Etheridge, Mick Hucknall, Tone-Loc, Ricky Van Shelton, Shanice, Celine Dion, Yanni, Curtis Stigers, Chaka Kahn and Trisha Yearwood.
 Marta Tracy, vice president of talent and development for E!, said, "E! has been able to attract many top-flight musicians as a result of this latest trend on 'Inside Word.' We expect this musical format to really take off and become a standard part of the show."
 E! Entertainment Television is a 24-hour, basic cable network which presents popular entertainment news and features, centered on today's top celebrities from movies, television and music. The network, which celebrated its second anniversary in June 1992, is currently offered to 20 million subscribers on more than 860 cable systems.
