Stripped back to basics by Abbey Road recording experts, the new version of the final Fab Four album certainly isn't their finest hour but, even with lawyers carving up their fortune at the time, they still outshone the competition. TALKING HEADS Once In A Lifetime This long overdue retrospective for David Byrne's artful outfit is an impressive document of one of the most resourceful bands to emerge from the 1977 New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of scene. Their strong personality mix produced a range of musical directions and classic tracks (Heaven, Psycho Killer) that few have been able to follow. BUSTED A Present For Everyone You can't blame the Surrey outfit for milking their good fortune. Their blend of butt-kicking firepower, winsome win·some adj. Charming, often in a childlike or naive way. [Middle English winsum, from Old English wynsum : from wynn, joy; see wen-1 vocals, melodic fancy and risque ris·qué adj. Suggestive of or bordering on indelicacy or impropriety. [French, from past participle of risquer, to risk, from risque, risk; see risk.] Adj. attitude is hardly original. But following the success of their debut, here's more songs about bedwetting and misbehaving. The spirit of comic book punk lives on. |
