It's making a statement that you have to be in Los Angeles. ``They left here complaining about the facilities and they found a larger space in Atlanta, but attendance went to hell. When you look at the sheer numbers, it makes sense to be in Los Angeles and a little more crowded than in Atlanta with no one there,'' Kyser said. News of E3's return was met with strong support by industry representatives. The ``Los Angeles area is the digital epicenter for multimedia activity,'' said Molly Lavik, associate director of the Los Angeles New Media Roundtable, a trade group of multimedia companies. ``To say we're pleased to hear this announcement would be accurate.'' |
