MULTIMAX, INC. ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT CONTRACT WINS.


U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Department of State and the State of Maryland have each awarded significant additional Information Technology (IT) services business to the company.

The combined value to Multimax of the awards is nearly $25 million.

For the U.S. Air Force

For the U.S. Air Force, Multimax and its teaming partners, Titan Systems Corporation and Compaq Federal, are providing more than 40 highly trained and experienced IT professionals to support the Defense Security Service at Fort Meade, Md. The focus of these individuals is the daily operation of DSS's Case Control Management System (CCMS CCMS Computing Center Management System
CCMS Committee on the Challenges of Modern Society (NATO)
CCMS Child Care Management Services
CCMS Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science
CCMS Cerebrocostomandibular Syndrome
), a software application that supports the processing of all military, civilian and private sector security clearances and related actions. The Multimax team assumed responsibility on March 22, 2002, for all functions required to support CCMS operations, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

This work was awarded competitively to Multimax as a task order under the company's Air Force Information Technology Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA BPA British Paediatric Association. ). Titan Systems and Compaq Federal have previously provided IT services to support DSS (1) (Digital Signature Standard) A National Security Administration standard for authenticating an electronic message. Staffing under the task order includes Operating System, Network Software, and Database Specialists; System Operators; and Test Engineers.

ITT Industries, Systems Division, has been performing critical telecommunications support functions for the Department of State for some 37 years.

The Multimax team's support for the DCC will be provided pursuant to a task order awarded competitively under a Department of State omnibus contract held by Multimax. The task order has an initial term of 12 months, and two one-year option periods.

For the State of Maryland

) component of the Maryland Department of Transportation The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is a government agency in the U.S. state of Maryland. MDOT is overseen by Transportation Secretary John D. Porcari, whom had previously served as the Secretary prior to his current term, from 1999 to 2003. . Disbursed across the state, these personnel will provide MVA branch offices with a broad range of hardware and software IT services supporting MVA's personal computers, network and cable systems, switches and related devices and software. Multimax's teaming partner for this opportunity is PSI Consultants, Bowie, Md.

This work was awarded competitively to Multimax under the company's Technical Services Procurement (TSP) contract with the Maryland Department of Budget and Management. The TSP contract is an IT services contract available to all State of Maryland government organizations. The task order period runs through June 2003.

The MVA award is Multimax's second under the TSP contract. Under an earlier TSP task order, the company provides onsite computer hardware repair and maintenance services to Maryland Department of Natural Resources The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is a Government agency in the state of Maryland charged with maintaining natural resources such as state parks, public lands, state forests, and recreation areas.  installations statewide.
