MTNA staff reorganization.

[Perhaps Scottish Gaelic aingeal, fire, light.
 recently announced a staff reorganization. Brian Shepard, director of marketing and public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most , now has the additional responsibilities of meeting planning and special projects following the resignation of Jennifer Martin.

Ingle also announced the appointment of Rachel Kramer as director of educational services. In this newly created part-time position, Kramer, who owns and operates an independent studio in Cincinnati, will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program of activities and services for MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association
MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) 
 members.

This is Kramer's second "tour of duty" at the MTNA National Headquarters. From 1998-2001, she was director of meetings and conventions and assistant executive director for programs and convention. From 1990-1996, she served as the manager of educational programs, publication and training for Baldwin Piano & Organ Company. Kramer also has been an active volunteer leader in MTNA, holding numerous state and local positions.

"The combination of Kramer's extensive musical background, years of experience and her proven commitment to MTNA will be a tremendous asset to our association and members," said Gary Ingle, MTNA executive director.

As director of educational services, Kramer will identify educational needs and oversee the development and creation of future programs and services for our members, serve as the contact person for teacher-related inquiries to the national headquarters and develop and implement a comprehensive membership recruitment and retention plan.
