MTNA representatives attend fall conferences.

MTNA President Paul Stewart, Executive Director Gary Ingle and Director of Education Services Rachel Kramer attended various state conferences in October and November.

Ingle was at the West Virginia Music Teachers Association conference, where he gave a banquet speech. At the Professional Music Teachers of New Mexico conference in November, he gave a "Generational Issues" workshop, banquet speech and, before the Opening Recital, recognized Jane Snow for her years of service and major donations to PMTNM/MTNA.

Stewart attended and gave speeches at four state conferences in the fall, including the North Carolina Music Teachers Association conference. At the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association conference in October, Stewart judged the MTNA Senior Piano Competition, gave a keynote speech and gave a ragtime piano session. He installed officers, and gave a ragtime workshop session at the Georgia Music Teachers Association conference. The Utah Music Teachers Association conference in November involved a 50th anniversary presentation.

Kramer attended the West Virginia Music Teachers Association conference with Ingle and the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association conference with Stewart, as well as the Nebraska Music Teachers Association conference. At all three conferences, Kramer presented a workshop, "Fired Up!," which addressed issues such as burnout and studio makeover.
