It is a subsidiary of the Gibson Guitar Corporation. History ; Pallavi Mahidhara, winner of the 2005 Senior Piano Performance Competition, sponsored by Yamaha Corporation of America, Piano Division; and Brandon Stewart, winner of the 2005 Young Artist Piano Performance Competition, sponsored by Steinway & Sons. Ma, of Phoenix, Arizona, studies with Fei Xu. Mahidhara, of Bethesda, Maryland, studies with Julian Martin and Rachel Franklin. Stewart, of Provo, Utah, studies with Susan Bana.
