MTNA partners with ARTS competition.A partnership between MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) and the Arts Recognition and Talent Search (ARTS) once again gave MTNA state performance competition winners an opportunity to be named a Presidential Scholar in the Arts. This ongoing partnership enables state winners of the MTNA high school competitions to advance automatically to the intermediate level of judging in the ARTS auditions. Eligible students must currently be juniors in high school. Those who are not yet juniors will be allowed to skip to the intermediate level of the ARTS auditions once they are juniors. Of the MTNA competition finalists, one was chosen as Presidential Scholar in the Arts Nominee nominee n. 1) a person or entity who is requested or named to act for another, such as an agent or trustee. 2) a potential successor to another's rights under a contract. , three were ARTS Week finalists, 11 were named Honorable Mentions and 20 received Merit Awards.
