He directs choirs, teaches other music courses and maintains a private piano studio. Ediger is West central Division president-elect and has been chair of MTNA's Composer Commissioning program. Active in the Nebraska MTA, he has served as composition chair, treasurer, vice president, president-elect and president. "I am honored to be nominated for this position, and I am excited to help MTNA continue its excellent programs and to develop other programs to even better serve the needs of all music teachers," he says. Sue Freeman-Dopp Minneapolis, Minnesota Sue Freeman Dopp has just completed a two-year term as president of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association. She has served in many different capacities throughout past years in MMTA--among them Honors Concert chairman, vice president for contest, contest judge coordinator and MMTA Foundation board trustee. She has served for many years as an adjudicator for MMTA theory exams, comprehensive exams and state contest, and has given numerous contest materials workshops and judging seminars. Dopp is currently the regional sales manager for piano and keyboard sales for Schmitt Music. "MTNA has played a large part in my professional life. t remember my first MTNA Conference in Houston. I was one of my most valuable and inspiring experiences," she says. |
