MSIF offers MS in focus. (news).


The Multiple Sclerosis multiple sclerosis (MS), chronic, slowly progressive autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system attacks the protective myelin sheaths that surround the nerve cells of the brain and spinal cord (a process called demyelination), resulting in damaged areas  International Federation--the organization that links MS organizations in some 40 countries around the world--is offering a new magazine. MS in Focus addresses quality of life, rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy. , and treatment topics and reports on the activities of the global MS community. A special section publicizes projects and programs from member societies. Aimed at people with MS and those who give professional care in this field, it will feature contributions from a wide spectrum of specialists.
