based Abrams/Gentile Entertainment (AGE) jointly announced the formation of Happy Zone Entertainment Corporation and inked a pact to produce 13 episodes of Vampires, a weekly Saturday morning children's series. The series will feature a combination of live action and highly sophisticated computer animation utilizing MSHE's ground breaking, production management software system: Jethro, developed with the cooperation of Intel Corporation (company) Intel Corporation - A US microelectronics manufacturer. They produced the Intel 4004, Intel 8080, Intel 8086, Intel 80186, Intel 80286, Intel 80386, Intel 486 and Pentium microprocessor families as well as many other integrated circuits and personal computer networking . Under the arrangement, Happy Zone will have first right of refusal to all children's and family projects which are presented to Happy Zone and MSHE from outside parties as well as those projects which are developed in-house.

Happy Zone will also form its own in-house distribution and music publishing The contractual relationship between a songwriter or music composer and a music publisher, whereby the writer assigns part or all of his or her music copyrights to the publisher in exchange for the publisher's commercial exploitation of the music.  divisions to operate and manage distribution and music publishing of its own products.

Negotiations for Happy Zone's first animated children's series, Vampires, are being concluded with a major broadcaster to debut the series in September 1997. Additionally, a master world-wide license for a line of boy's toys created around the series is currently being negotiated with a major toy company and will be announced shortly. Under the Happy Zone venture, Vampires will be the first animated series to use the Jethro system. MSHE recently announced an agreement with Intel Corporation under which Intel will cooperate in the development of MSHE's new production management software system. This system will be used as a work flow manager for advanced animation rendering projects utilizing Intel architecture-based work stations.

its co-creator and producer, John Gentile, centers upon a group of derelict vans in a junkyard who come to life with a "need to feed." Instead of feeding on blood, these "Vampires" feed on gasoline, consuming huge amounts of the precious commodity and, in the process, raise their army of gas hungry cars. During the daylight hours, the Vampires appear to be benign vehicles, but at night, they rise up to terrorize ter·ror·ize

Dragon Flyz and Sky Dancer, both Saturday morning animated series, are currently in syndication nationwide with Dragon Flyz currently being the number one boy's animated series in syndication.

Notes Gentile: "The Vampires series will be unique on a variety of levels. Because of the capabilities of MSHE's new Jethro animation system, we'll be able to create both a revolutionary new look for weekend animation and truly be unrestrained in our layout and storyboard A sequence of images and annotations for a cartoon, animation or video. Comments Stathakis: "MSHE is at the forefront of a progressive shift in computer animation. Vampires puts to the test our animation production software system Jethro, proving our capacity to produce faster, less expensive, better quality and more efficient animation than any animated series on the air.

"In addition to Vampires," continues Stathakis, "Happy Zone has a second series in development that will also utilize the Jethro system, as well as four other animation and live action children's and family projects for next year. We are truly excited by this potential and because of it, our future plans for Happy Zone include our intention to file an IPO (Initial Public Offering) The first time a company offers shares of stock to the public. While not a computer term per se, many founders, employees and insiders of computer companies have found this acronym more exciting than any tech term they ever heard.  registration statement to transition the company from a private to a publicly traded stock company." No specific date is scheduled; however, preliminary planning has begun, and depending on the market conditions, a target date of between 12 to 15 months is estimated.

Adds Anthony Gentile, AGE vice-president and co-creator of Vampires: "We're very optimistic about the potential of this production and using the Jethro system. It opens up an entire new area for our ability to create shows which truly push the limits in terms of storyboards, storylines and production values. Vampires will be the first in a slate of animated children's series we'll produce that will be considerably deeper and more richly textured - from a production standpoint - than your typical children's TV fare."
