MRO Software Earns Highest Level Of PinkVerify Certification; Maximo Enterprise Suite Supports IT Service Management Best Practices.
PinkVerify(TM) recognizes software solutions that have been objectively evaluated and certified by Pink Elephant IT Service Management Consultants. Solutions that are verified in four out of seven support processes - Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management - are verified as ITIL Service Support.
Solutions that are verified for the above four support processes, plus at least one of the remaining three processes - Service Level, Release and Availability Management - receive the Enhanced verification, the highest level of PinkVerify(TM) certification. Maximo Enterprise Suite met the requirements for all seven processes and received the Enhanced verification, the highest level of PinkVerify certification.
"Our ability to seek and receive the highest level of PinkVerify certification validates our strategy and the resources we committed to our recent development program and launch of Maximo Enterprise Suite," said Jack Young, executive vice president products and technology at MRO Software. "Our customers can be assured that the IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) functionality in MXES supports ITIL standards and provides them with a certified solution for their IT asset and service management requirements."
As businesses become more dependent on technology, the need to establish and follow best practices and standards is increasingly important. ITIL standards address critical issues such as IT skill sets, customer service and security requirements, service management, the range and frequency of IT changes, and the increasing need to share information between business units. An objective third-party evaluation of best practices and standards can help ensure efficient use, management and deployment of IT assets.
"It is exciting to see solutions providers, such as MRO Software, delivering products that support key ITIL processes," says David Ratcliffe, President and CEO of Pink Elephant. "This further demonstrates the impact ITIL is having on IT departments and their organizations. Practitioners are demanding a method of identifying ITIL-compatible solutions, and manufacturers are meeting the demand head on. We are proud to add Maximo Enterprise Suite to our list of PinkVerified products."
