MPM RECEIVES LETTER OF INTENT FROM TAIWANESE FIRM TO PURCHASE SKYGAS PLANTS

SPOKANE, Wash., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Montana Precision Mining Ltd. (MPM) (NASDAQ: MPML) said today it had received a Letter of Intent from Jowin Corp., Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China, to purchase one to two Skygas plants for the disposal of tires, sludge, printed circuit boards and other industrial and municipal waste.
The plants would cost from $8 to $10 million each, said MPM, which met with Jowin representatives in Chicago earlier this week.
Today's announcement follows one made by MPM on June 30, in which the company announced the receipt of a Letter of Intent from a Chinese concern in the People's Republic of China to purchase up to two Skygas facilities for the disposal of industrial waste in Donnguan City, Guandonng Province, P.R.C.
MPM President Charles A. Romberg said the Jowin agreement constituted "yet another step" in MPM's drive to introduce Skygas technology "in the Orient, Europe and across the globe." He said he expected to announce additional marketing agreements, as well as consummate previous agreements, "by the end of the year."
MPM's partners in its Skygas venture include the Italian-based Smogless S.p.A., Milan, Italy (Part of the Laidlaw Group of Canada) Xytel Technologies, Mt. Prospect, Ill., and Enprotech Corp., a subsidiary of Itochu International.
Jowin Corp. is a producer of aluminum, an importer/exporter of various products and a developing player in the field of telecommunications production.
 MPM is based in Spokane.
