MP Turatbek Madylbekov (Ata Meken) tendered resignation from the position of the chairman of the parliamentary committee for fight against corruption. "Serious charges were brought against my son recently. As father I don't doubt his innocence. I am confident all suspicions are groundless," MP Madylbekov said in the statement e-mailed to media on Tuesday. The lawmaker said he decided to resign so that nobody suspected him of abusing his power for the purpose of interference into investigation process or any influence on the course of investigation.
