Jason McDonald has been promoted to general line sales territory manager for the Fort Smith area of J.A. Riggs Tractor Co. Rohn Hanson was named Lexion combine specialist and Vince Sutton was named paving product specialist. Mike Miller has been promoted to northwest territory hydraulic sales specialist and Steve McQueen was promoted to hydraulic systems manufacturing manager by Riggs hydraulic center.


Charles D. Morgan and Jerry L. Maulden were honored by The University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Business Administration Honors and Awards Banquet. Professor Ralph Shull won an award for teaching excellence and John Hall was honored for research excellence. More than $75,000 in scholarships was also awarded at the banquet.

Adrienne Jung of Van Buren has been named the first Boyer Fellow at the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business Administration. The Boyer fellowship encourages outstanding Arkansas students to pursue a college education at the Walton College of Business Administration.


Austin Brightop has joined Regions Bank of Little Rock as part of the private banking staff. He specializes in commercial lending. Brightop will be responsible for providing specialized assistance and service to clients within the private banking area.

Terry J. Masching has joined the Little Rock office of A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. as vice president of investments. He was formerly state manager for Variable Annuity Life Insurance Co. for 16 years.

Keith Myers has been named managing director of direct banking strategies for Alltel Corp.'s financial services organization. Myers brings 28 years of banking experience to the company.

David M. Harrison has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer for Elk Horn Bank at Arkadelphia. He will be responsible for operations, branch administration, retail sales opportunities, problem asset administration, legal issues resolution and human resources.

Dennis Gibson has been hired as senior vice president of service delivery of Arkansas Federal Credit Union in Jacksonville. He will oversee operations and service delivery for the credit union's seven branch offices. Patricia Fuquay has been named west Little Rock branch manager for the credit union. She brings a total of 27 years of financial industry experience to the credit union.

Nydia Ferry has been hired as central region employee relations coordinator for Superior Federal Bank. Ferry is responsible for all employee relations including recruiting.


Bill Lovette has been named president of the Tyson Food Service Group. Lovette has been president of the company's international group since 1999.


Doug Gaines has been promoted to administrator of the office of customer assistance for the Department of Information Systems. Gaines will over-see the agency's call center, network operations center, installation services and telephone support.


David Greenwood of Little Rock has been named director of underwriting for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Greenwood will be responsible for managing Arkansas Blue Cross' group underwriting including the HIPPA and excess loss units.

Dr. Kelsy J. Caplinger of Little Rock received a Pride in the Profession award from the American Medical Association, in association with the Pfizer Medical Humanities Initiative. Caplinger was recognized for founding "MedCamps," a program that provides unique opportunities for medically disadvantaged and handicapped children.


Roger H. Brear of Ashdown has been elected vice president of Ashdown operations of Georgia-Pacific Corp. He will be responsible for the company's communication papers manufacturing operations at several Georgia-Pacific locations across the country.

Debra Pate, senior public relations account executive, Matt Dishongh, public relations account executive, and Keri La Valle, public relations assistant, were recently hired by Stone & Ward for its expanding public relations department. Patrick LaGrone was hired as designer/art director and Klansee Juckett joined the agency as an associate art director and designer for the agency. Wanda Young and Rhonda Zahnen were both promoted to account managers.


Becky J. Kossover was named executive director of Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation. She previously worked for the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism.
