 MOTORS INSURANCE CORPORATION ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL CHANGES
 DETROIT, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Motors Insurance Corporation (MIC), a


subsidiary of General Motors Acceptance Corporation, announces the following personnel changes:
 -- Gordon M. Kolb, manager of MIC's employe insurance activity, has been promoted to director of MIC's field operations. He succeeds E. Brinson Paul who has retired after 37 years with the company.
 -- Barbara D. Prinzi, manager of MIC's Mid-West control office, has been promoted to manager of MIC's employe insurance activity.
 -- Louis H. Greene, manager of MIC's control office in Dallas, has been named manager of MIC's Mid-West control office in Chicago.
 Kolb attended Central State College in Stevens Point, Wis., and joined MIC in 1953 in Milwaukee. He served in various capacities in Ironwood, Rhinelander, Wausau, Madison, Green Bay, Iron Mountain and Oak Park, Wis. In 1963, Kolb was named claim supervisor in Milwaukee, and in 1965, he was promoted to claim manager in Minneapolis.
 In 1971, Kolb joined MIC's headquarters as a regional claim manager. Two years later, he was appointed district branch manager in Omaha, Neb. Kolb returned to MIC's headquarters in New York in 1975 as a staff assistant in branch operations. He was promoted to general assistant in 1978 and was named assistant control branch manager of MIC's employe insurance activity in 1984.
 Since 1985, Kolb has been control branch manager for MIC's employe insurance activity in Detroit.
 Paul, a graduate of Chowan Junior College, joined MIC in 1955 in Raleigh, N.C. He served in various supervisory positions there before being named office manager in Dallas in 1967. Two years later, Paul joined MIC's sales department at the company headquarters. In late 1969, he was named regional sales manager in New York. He transferred to Somerset in 1970, and later that year, he joined the Mid-Atlantic region.
 In 1972, Paul was appointed field branch manager in Harrisburg, Pa. He transferred to Houston-Gulfgate in 1976, and in 1980, he was named control branch manager in Washington.
 In 1986, Paul was appointed manager of special operations at the company's headquarters. In 1987, he was named manager of field operations. In January 1991, Paul was appointed director of field operations.
 Prinzi joined MIC in 1957 in Tallahassee, Fla. She served in various positions in Oak Park and Tampa. In 1985, Prinzi was named assistant control branch manager for MIC's employe insurance activity. She has been control office manager in Chicago since 1987.
 Greene, a graduate of Rutgers State University, joined MIC in 1963 in Los Angeles. He served in various capacities there and in Pasadena, Van Nuys and Long Beach, before being named a senior traveling auditor in 1975 in Pasadena. He was named a senior analyst in 1976.
 Greene was appointed staff assistant in 1978. In 1979, Greene was named assistant control branch manager in New York. He transferred to Denver as a control branch manager in 1980 and then transferred to Philadelphia in the same capacity in 1985.
 In 1987, Greene was appointed General Motors Protection Plan coordinator in Detroit. He has been a control office manager in Dallas since 1989.
