MOTOCROSS: TEDESCO TAKES 125CC IN ANAHEIM.

ANAHEIM - Ivan Tedesco waited for the right moment.

When Andrew T. Short faltered, Tedesco, the 2004 Western 125cc champion, pounced in the GP/THQ AMA (Automatic Message Accounting) The recording and reporting of telephone calls within a telephone system. It includes the calling and called parties and start and stop times of the call.  Supercross Series in front of a sellout crowd of 45,050 Saturday night at Angel Stadium.

Kawasaki's Tedesco had a poor holeshot, starting 10th, but when Short misjudged a big jump on the 10th of 15 laps on the tight track, Tedesco, from Murrieta, seized the moment.

``Everyone was making mistakes, and I just began working on Short,'' Tedesco said. ``It worked out for me.''

Short finished second and Nathan Ramsey, the winner in Anaheim 1, was third.

Ryan Sipes won the holeshot, but finished fifth in his third career supercross race.

``I worked on the start 200 times Thursday,'' Tedesco said. ``It did not help. I don't know Don't know (DK, DKed)

Tedesco, who won seven of the eight races last year, won for the first time this season.

He had also won the Australian Supercross twice. Chad is married and currently resides in Tampa, Florida.  of Lake Elsinore were easy winners in the 250cc eight-lap heat races. Both got the holeshots and were never threatened.

Sebastien Toretelli of Lake Elsinore finished second to Carmichael with Jeremy McGrath Jeremy McGrath (born November 19, 1971, San Francisco, California) is a Supercross racer and has won a record of 72 250cc Main Event wins and captured 7 250cc Championships between 1993 to 2000. He is often referred to as "Showtime" or "The King" meaning, the King of Supercross.  of Encinitas third.

In the second heat, series points leader and Anaheim 1 winner Kevin Windham Kevin Windham (born February 28, 1978 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is a professional motocross racer. He has raced for many factory teams and holds several titles, back to back AMA 125 West Supercross Championships in 1996 and 1997, and the 2005 Motocross Des Nations team championship.  of Centreville, Miss. fell while making a challenge at Reed on the sixth lap.

Windham battled back to easily win the semifinal.

 of Murrieta edged Mike Larocco of Corona in the other semifinal race. They traded the lead five times in the fifth of the six-lap race with Byrne taking the lead for good on the start-finish line jump.

Erick Vallejo of Garland, Texas, won the Last Chance qualifying race.

In the 125cc heat races, Billy Laninovich of Lake Elsinore and Tedesco were the six-lap winners.

Turbo Reif, from Atascadero, came back to win the four-lap Last Chance qualifying race.

Noticeably absent was James ``Bubba'' Stewart and Travis Pastrana.
