MOSCOM Signs Contract with Siemens A.G. for New Call Accounting Hardware Product.

) today announced the signing of a contract with Siemens A.G. Private Communication Systems Group (PN) for a new call accounting hardware product to be produced by MOSCOM and marketed by Siemens PN under the name Hicom GCM GCM General Circulation Model

Siemens is a German-based multinational electronics and telecommunications company See telecom company.  with annual sales of over $US 60 billion. Hicom GCM is the third generation call accounting system produced by MOSCOM for Siemens since 1984. It replaces the highly successful GCM product line of which over 4,000 units were sold by Siemens during the past three years. Hicom GCM utilizes more advanced microprocessor design to provide greater processing power, application features and user flexibility at a more competitive price than its predecessor. Hicom GCM will be sold by Siemens in Germany and export markets with Siemens' small and medium size Hicom telecommunications systems. Hicom GCM was exhibited by Siemens at the CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany last week.

Albert J. Montevecchio, MOSCOM President, commenting on the contract said, "We are both proud and honored to once again be selected by Siemens to supply a call accounting system for Siemens' customers in Germany and worldwide. We expect the new Hicom GCM product to be sold by Siemens for at least four years, with revenues to MOSCOM from this contract of over $1 million per year."
