MOSCOM And Nortel Ltd. Sign Agreement For Distribution of INFO MDR, VerabillTM, and INFO Bill.

PITTSFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 1995--MOSCOM Corporation (Nasdaq National Stock Market:MSCM) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Nortel Ltd. (Northern Telecom) for the supply of MOSCOM's INFO/MDR, Verabill and INFO Bill products in the United Kingdom, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Nortel Ltd. will work closely with Global Billing Services, Ltd., MOSCOM's telephone company billing and operations support service bureau.

MOSCOM's patented INFO/MDR message capture and transport system gives telephone companies access to detailed records on all calls routed through their switch. These records provide information about calling patterns that allow telephone company customers to analyze calling activity for purposes of telephone cost allocation and resource management. This capability is particularly valuable to subscribers of Centrex service and operators of Virtual Private Networks.

Verabill is MOSCOM's Windows-based rating and billing software for wireline and wireless telephone companies with up to 10,000 customers and 30,000 lines. Verabill is designed to allow start-up telephone companies to quickly implement a rating and billing system with minimal capital investment and operator training.

INFO Bill is a more comprehensive billing and operations support system for telephone and cable television companies. INFO Bill supports mid- to large-size companies with up to five million customer lines. Global Billing Services uses INFO Bill software to offer an outsourcing alternative for the same comprehensive functionality.
