LANCASTER - The 15th annual California Poppy California poppy: see poppy.

Annual garden plant (Eschscholzia californica) in the poppy family, native to the western coast of North America and naturalized in parts of southern Europe, Asia, and Australia.
 Festival drew thousands of visitors Saturday to Lancaster City Park and continues today with shows by jazz saxophonist Michael Lington and guitarist Craig Chaquico Craig Chaquico (born September 25, 1954) is an American guitarist from Sacramento, California who has had over thirty years of success in a variety of genres: in the 1970s with the post-Summer of Love Jefferson Starship, in that band's 1980s incarnation, Starship, and in the 1990s .

The festival will run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at 43011 10th St. W. Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 12 and seniors age 62 and older, and free for children under age 6. Parking is free.

Concerts are included in the admission price.

Lington, a Dane whose debut album ``Stay With Me'' has been on Billboard's contemporary jazz chart for 24 weeks, will perform at 1:30 p.m. Chaquico, who was a member of Jefferson Starship Jefferson Starship was an American rock band popular in the 1970s and 1980s.  as a teenager and evolved into a smooth-jazz band leader, performs at 3:30 p.m.

Besides food, crafts booths and a farmers and flower market, the festival will include workshops on home decorating and desert gardening.

Michael Payne Michael Payne is the host and interior designer of Home and Garden Television's show Designing for the Sexes. The show was aired from 1998 to 2003, and featured Michael navigating design conflicts between couples with conflicting tastes. , host of Home & Garden TV's ``Designing for the Sexes'' series, will speak from 1 to 2 p.m. today.
