The show's title comes from Velasco's childhood, in which he grew up as the only white child in primarily black neighborhoods. Performing was Velasco's first career, but the one he calls ``(my) passion'' is teaching in schools, malls and, most importantly Adv. 1. most importantly - above and beyond all other consideration; "above all, you must be independent" above all, most especially , in prisons and corrective facilities, where he used dance and theater and art to give inmates a new way to change their lives. There are also four dance pieces and an audience-participation piece about a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism.
