Ati Conner, who helped the Moorpark wrestling team capture the 1997 state championship, was selected state Wrestler of the Year and coach Paul Keysaw was selected state Coach of the Year. Assistant coach Steve Payan was also recognized as the Assistant Coach of the Year.
