MOORPARK'S SET FOR ANNUAL COUNTRY DAYS.

MOORPARK - The birthday celebration begun in June, when the city hit its 100th year, will continue today during Moorpark Country Days, with nearly 5,000 people expected for the parade and carnival.

Sponsored by the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, the 21st annual Country Days celebration will begin at 9:30 a.m., when five high school bands and more than 80 floats and other entries will converge on the city's historic High Street for the parade. COUNTRY DAYS FACTS

The 21st annual Country Days in Moorpark, and the city's continued celebration of the city's centennial, includes:

--A 9:30 a.m. parade down High Street

--Entertainment, carnival games, pony rides, booths, exhibitors and food vendors starting at 3 p.m.

--Admission is free.
