He was a Guggenheim Fellow in 1977 and the Positano Choreographic Award in 1999. takes us on a trip to the moon in his latest full-evening work, Lunar Sea. It takes off at MOMIX's season at the Joyce Theater The Joyce Theater is a 472-seat dance performance venue located in the Chelsea area of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. The Joyce Theater Foundation, the organization founded in 1982 that operates the theater, also owns the Joyce SoHo dance center located in a , May 10-29. Gravity-defying mooniacs drift and multiply, shimmer and disappear like the phases of the moon in this mythic re-imagining of the celestial orb. Forget the Apollo missions The Apollo missions were a series of space missions, both manned and unmanned, flown by NASA between 1961 and 1975.
