MOFFATT APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT, INTERNATIONAL MARKETING AT NABISCO

 NEW YORK, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Nabisco International today announced that Catherine J. Moffatt, 33, was appointed to the position of vice president, marketing, Nabisco International.
 Moffatt will be responsible for leading Nabisco International's marketing and product development activity. She will report to Stanley Heath, president - Latin America.
 A key focus of Moffatt's new position will be greater integration of successful marketing approaches among Nabisco International's operating companies. "We look to Catherine to spur interchange of 'best practice' among our operating subsidiaries. In particular, she will focus new marketing emphasis on international recognition of Nabisco as a superior quality, multinational brand. We believe Catherine will bring exceptional expertise to her new international responsibilities, helping us maximize global opportunities and reach the 'global' consumer," said Heath.
 Moffatt has been with Nabisco for 11 years, most recently as director, marketing services for Nabisco International in New York. In that position, her focus was on new product opportunities in Latin America and Spain and on refining international quality benchmarks.
 Prior to that, she was director of new business development for Christie Brown and Co., a division of Nabisco Brands, Canada, where she was responsible for the highly successful introduction of Crispers in Canada. Other assignments in Canada included brand management responsibilities for Nabisco's Ritz, Premium Plus and Triscuit brands and Peek Freans biscuits and crackers.
 Moffatt graduated from McGill University, Montreal, in 1982, where she received a bachelor of commerce degree in marketing. She and her husband relocated to New York City in April of this year.
 Nabisco International manufactures and markets food and beverage products outside the United States and Canada. Its operations are primarily in Latin America and Europe where its products include cookies and crackers, dry mixes, pasta and industrial baking products.
 Nabisco International is an operating unit of RJR Nabisco, Inc., an international consumer products company with major food businesses in Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, Chile and Peru. RJR Nabisco's other major operating units are R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and the Nabisco Foods Group.
