MITRE Licenses Glycomics Technology to Quickpath Technologies.


MCLEAN, Va. -- The MITRE Corporation (body) MITRE Corporation - A US federally funded R&D center, spun off in 1958 from the MIT Lincoln Laboratory (also an FFRDC). MITRE is a non-profit corporation chartered to do R&D in the public interest.  announced today that it has licensed to Quickpath Technologies, Inc. (Quickpath Bioscience) of Columbia, Maryland Columbia is a census-designated place and planned community in Howard County, Maryland, United States. It is a suburb of Baltimore, and, to a lesser degree, Washington, DC. It began with the idea that a city could enhance its residents' quality of life.  its platform of technologies in the field of glycomics. The MITRE Corporation is a not-for-profit organization chartered to work in the public interest. MITRE manages three Federally Funded Research and Development Centers Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) conduct research for the United States Government. They are administered in accordance with U.S Code of Federal Regulations, Title 48, Part 35, Section 35.017 by universities and corporations.  (FFRDCs) and also has its own independent research and development program that explores new technologies and new uses of technologies to solve sponsors' problems in the near-term and in the future.
