MIT'S Nicholas Negroponte nominated to Motorola Board of Directors.


SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 19, 1996--Nicholas Negroponte, a founder and director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Laboratory, has been nominated to stand for election to the Motorola Board of Directors. Stockholders will vote on the nomination at Motorola's annual meeting on May 7, 1996.

Negroponte, 52, studied at MIT MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology , where as a graduate student he specialized in the then new field of computer aided design (application) Computer Aided Design - (CAD) The part of CAE concerning the drawing or physical layout steps of engineering design.
