Triple-A Pawtucket (R.I.) catcher Andy Dominique (Alemany High of Mission Hills) reached base in 12 consecutive plate appearances, the longest such streak in minor-league baseball this year. In a doubleheader against Buffalo (N.Y.) on Sunday, Dominique went 6 for 6 with two walks and was hit by a pitch. On a torrid stretch since being promoted by the Boston Red Sox, Dominique was named International League Hitter of the Week after batting .542 (13 for 24) with four homers, seven RBI and nine runs scored.

--Sunday's top performers: Cody Haerther (Chaminade of West Hills) went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored for rookie Johnson City (Tenn.). ... Brian Baron (Hart of Newhall/UCLA) had a two-run double and an RBI single in a 20-4 victory for Double-A New Britain (Conn.) over Bowie (Md.). ... Conor Jackson (El Camino Real of Woodland Hills) had two hits, three RBI and a run scored for Single-A Yakima (Wash.). ... Adam Nikolic (CSUN) had two hits for Single-A Hudson Valley (N.Y.). ... Chris Testa (Palmdale) had three hits for Single-A South Georgia. ... Ben Francisco (UCLA) had three hits and four RBI for Single-A Lake County (Ohio).
