MILKEN FALLS SHORT VS. CROSSROADS.

Byline: Jack Pollon

Felipe Williams scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half including two free-throws with 8.6 seconds remaining to send Crossroads to a 63-62 victory over host Milken Community in a Division IV-A semifinal boys' basketball game Saturday.

Milken Community almost pulled off the biggest upset in the school's history thanks in part to 19 points by Alex Raminfar and 17 points by Daniel Greenberg.

Milken was primed for the upset as they took an 11-point halftime lead by shreading Crossroads' full-court press and getting Anthony Locke and 6-foot-10 junior center Isaiah Isaiah (īzā`yə, īsā`–), prophetic book of the Bible. It is a collection of prophecies from a 300-year period attributed to Isaiah, who may have been a priest. Some scholars argue that a long-lived "school" of Isaiah preserved his oracles and supplemented them in succeeding centuries. Fox into early foul trouble.

Crossroads improves to 21-9 while the Wildcats finish their best season ever at 19-4.
