MIKON Systems announces Year 2000 solutions for manufacturers.ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 1997--At its Customer Days 1997 User Conference, Rick Curtis, president of MIKON Systems Inc., today announced the completion of internal validation of century date change compliance for MIKON(TM) and INTEKON(R) software and a program of strategic services to assist its manufacturing customers in addressing the approaching Year 2000 crisis. Commenting on the company's recent preparations for Year 2000 readiness, Curtis stated, "We've completed a program of testing and problem correction with MIKON and INTEKON and I can state with confidence that at the current update level, these products are ready for the Millennium date change. "Based on our study, however, a big job remains for many manufacturers in testing, validating, replacing and re-integrating their diverse factory subsystems."
