Update: The Ducks are 2-3-2 entering the final game of their eight-game homestand. The Ducks have allowed eight goals in their last five games and goalies Jean-Sebastien Giguere and Steve Shields both have been solid. San Jose is 8-4-4-2 and atop the Pacific Division. Former Mighty Duck Teemu Selanne has 13 points (three goals, 10 assists); however, he has a five-game streak without a goal. Selanne is third on the Sharks in points behind Vincent Damphousse (15) and Owen Nolan (14).
