MIDWEST EXPRESS AIRLINES INITIATES NONSTOP SERVICE TO MILWAUKEE

MILWAUKEE, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Midwest Express Airlines initiated new nonstop service between Cleveland and Milwaukee, this week.
The Midwest Express schedule to Milwaukee is timed to accommodate the business traveler, and includes twice-daily, nonstop jet service; supplemented by once-daily turboprop service provided by Skyway Airlines, the Midwest Express commuter partner.
During a press conference at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Midwest Express Vice President of Marketing Brenda Skelton stated that, "Midwest Express is very optimistic about adding Cleveland to our route system. There is a strong business connection between Milwaukee and Cleveland, and we expect our Cleveland passengers to be very receptive to the type of luxury, nonstop service that Midwest Express is known for."
Midwest Express has been applauded for its wide leather two-across seating and excellent meal service, and in 1992 was one of only two profitable jet carriers in the U.S. The Milwaukee-based airline has been named "most comfortable coach seat in the sky" and "Best U.S. Airline Overall" for the third consecutive year by Consumer Reports Travel Letter.
Midwest Express Airline is a wholly owned subsidiary of K-C Aviation, which, in turn, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kimberly- Clark Corp. Operating since June 1984, Midwest Express employs more than 1,100 people, maintaining a fleet of 16 aircraft which operate in 21 cities throughout the U.S. Together with its Skyway commuter partner, Midwest Express currently serves 43 cities throughout the U.S.
