MIDISOFT ADDS SOUND EXPLORER, EXPANDS DISTRIBUTION

 REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Midisoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MIDI) today announced it is adding a new multimedia music and sound product, Midisoft Sound Explorer, that enables users to sample all the company's products and enjoy the Midisoft Holiday Music Collection. Sound Explorer, with another new product MusicMagic, marks the company's entry into the mass market buying category.
 Featuring limited edition versions of seven Midisoft products plus a holiday music collection, Sound Explorer is expected to ship about Oct. 15, in time for the holiday shopping season.
 Sound Explorer, on a single CD-ROM, gives people instant access to MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) music sequencing and notation software, music education software, digital audio recording and editing software, and other multimedia music and sound capabilities. It has applications for MIDI music, for digital (wave) audio and CD audio.
 The product is the company's second CD-ROM title and will be available through many mass market retailers at a suggested retail price of $19.95. People can use it at home with a regular CD player or with multimedia computers with CD audio playback.
 "Sound Explorer and MusicMagic, also being shipped in mid-October, expand our marketing to resellers and mass market retailers as well as end users," said Raymond Bily, Midisoft's chairman and chief executive officer. Individuals purchasing Sound Explorer will receive a coupon in its package for a cash or product rebate for a follow-on purchase of any Midisoft product.
 Sound Explorer contains limited edition versions of Midisoft Studio for Windows, Music Mentor with Recording Session, MIDI Kit with Recording Session, Sound Impression, World of Music Sampler, Multimedia Music Library and MusicMagic Songbook. The Holiday Music Collection features a rich selection of Christmas music as well as music celebrating other holidays throughout the year.
