, ATM and Frame Relay technologies makes it the perfect consortium to host this broad ranging NGN event," said Rajiv Kapoor, director of Service Provider Marketing, Cisco. "The Forum's efforts on interworking (standard) interworking - Systems or components, possibly from different origins, working together to perform some task. Interworking depends crucially on standards to define the interfaces between the components.  of multiple technologies over MPLS according to common encapsulation formats, quality of service (QoS) across service provider boundaries and operations, administration and maintenance (OAM) are some of the most important issues influencing standards bodies such as ATIS ATIS - A Tools Integration Standard , ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute, Sophia Antipolis technical park, Nice, France, www.etsi.org) A non-profit membership organization founded in 1988, dedicated to standardizing information and communication technologies (ICT) throughout Europe.  TISPAN TISPAN TIPHON (Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization over Networks) and SPAN (Services and Protocols for Advanced Networks) (ETSI) , ITU-T See ITU.
