One of the largest is being held this weekend at Olvera Street and will resume on Sept. 16, the actual anniversary of Mexico's declaration of independence from Spain in 1810. The Olvera Street fiesta runs from noon until 10 p.m. today and again on Thursday, from noon to 8 p.m., at 845 N. Alameda St., downtown.
