METROVISION OF NORTH AMERICA ANNOUNCES PLANNED ACQUISITION OF TOUCHTEL
 SYRACUSE, N.Y., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- MetroVision of North America, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVTV) announced today that it has entered into a letter of intent to acquire the outstanding capital stock of TouchTel, Inc. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
 TouchTel, an Atlanta-based, privately owned company, is a leading provider of airport multi-media public information systems. TouchTel currently has a long-term agreement with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to install interactive information terminals, video walls and broadcast television monitors at JFK International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Newark International Airport and the Downtown- Manhattan Heliport. Consummation of the transaction is subject to the conditions set forth in the letter of intent, including among other things, completion of due diligence and the execution by the parties of a mutually satisfaction acquisition agreement.
 Robert F. Hussey, president and chief executive officer of MetroVision, stated: "The acquisition of TouchTel would represent a significant milestone in MetroVision's efforts to expand the Flight Channel into airports across the country. JFK, LaGuardia and Newark airports are three of the most important airports, and combined represent the largest gateway in the country. TouchTel's multi-media airport information system together with the Flight Channel would provide air travelers with an important source of travel information, news, weather and sports and entertainment."
 MetroVision of North America, Inc. is a publicly owned company which owns and operates two television cable networks (the Commuter Channel and the Flight Channel) designed for the commuter-rail transit and the airport industries. The Commuter Channel is currently installed in the PATH system in New York, the CTA system in Chicago, the BART system in San Francisco, the SEPTA system in Philadelphia and is currently being tested at the LIRR (Long Island RailRoad) in New York. The Flight Channel is currently installed in the Hancock International Airport in Syracuse.
