METEX Systems Inc, today announced the release of Rose RealTime DOORS(R) Link, an add-in for both Rational Rose RealTime and QSS' DOORS requirements management tool. With this announcement METEX broadens its commitment to providing added value to visual modeling tools used in system development.

The Rose RealTime DOORS Link enables users of Rose RealTime and DOORS to link and manage artifacts of the analyst and designer. Features include the ability to establish traceability between requirements and a software design and to assess the impact of requirement changes on a software design. Users will be able to identify requirements that have not been addressed by the software design as well as find design elements that are not justified by requirements. Furthermore, the link will enable users to find which requirements are associated with a specific element of the software design, and vice versa, ultimately verifying and demonstrating that the design meets customer requirements.
