MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCES SET.Byline: Daily News LANCASTER -- Memorial Day services will take place in Lancaster, Palmdale and Lake Los Angeles. The commemorations start tonight in Lancaster with a candlelight service hosted by Marine Corps League Antelope Valley Detachment 930 at 7:30 p.m. at Joshua 1 Central figure of the book of Joshua. 2 High priest associated with Zerubbabel in rebuilding the Temple. 3 Owner of the field where the Ark of the Covenant stood. 4 In Second Kings, governor of Jerusalem. 5 Hebrew name for Jesus of Nazareth. Lancaster Blvd. Monday's services begin at 8 a.m. at Lancaster Cemetery, 10 a.m. at Joshua Memorial Park, 11 a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale and at 11 a.m. at Stephen Sorensen Park in Lake Los Angeles. The Lancaster Cemetery service will focus on women veterans, with the keynote speech by Flora Belle Reece, a Women Airforce Service Pilot during World War II. Also attending will be WASP pilots Ty Killen and ``Babe'' Story. Girl Scouts will lead the flag ceremony and also will hand out small American flags for visitors to place on veterans' graves. Two Quartz Hill High School trumpeters will play taps. The Joshua Memorial Park ceremony, hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3000 of Quartz Hill, will include talks by post commander Cliff Barth and Ladies Auxiliary president Jill Breslau Breslau: see Wrocław, Poland..
