MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS NAMED AMONG AMERICA'S BEST SMALL COMPANIES AND EXECUTES REVISED CREDIT FACILITY

 CLEARWATER, Fla., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Forbes Magazine has included Medical Technology Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: MSYS), of Clearwater, Fla. in their latest list of the 200 best small companies in America. The selection criteria was based on return on equity, sales and profits.
 At a recent board of directors meeting, Todd E. Siegel, formerly executive vice president and COO, was elected president and CEO to succeed his father, Harold B. Siegel, recently deceased. Siegel, in response to the prestigious Forbes recognition stated, "In today's competitive world, businesses grow and thrive by anticipating market needs and providing innovative products and services." As proof of this credo, the company points to its own record which reflects 33 consecutive quarters of growth in both sales and earnings.
 The company's $15 million loan facility from SouthTrust Bank of Alabama, N.A., was modified and executed on Nov. 1, 1993 by Todd Siegel, president, to allow participation of Daiwa Bank Ltd. in this new credit arrangement. Both banks offered their continuing support of the company. This credit arrangement provides additional financing to the company on favorable terms for its anticipated long term growth.
 Medical Technology Systems, Inc. of Clearwater, Fla., is the nation's largest supplier of cost-saving medication card supplies, systems and equipment to institutional healthcare pharmacists. Medication cards are a more efficient and economical way for pharmacists to package, and nursing staffs to administer and monitor, patient medication. The company also packages generic pharmaceuticals in unit dose blister packs, manufactures prescription labels and provides clinical laboratory services for physicians.
