Managed care specialist Foundation Health Systems Inc. said it is considering selling its QualMed health maintenance organizations in Colorado, Oregon Oregon, city, United States

FHS' total commercial membership is about 4.2 million.

``We're in the process of evaluating all of our assets outside California, Arizona and the Northeast, which we consider our core areas,'' Haines said.

FHS shares closed down 25 cents at $28.50.

 Society of California, which supported the bill, said in a written statement that Wilson signing the law was ``a great step toward achieving disclosure in managed care.''

Independent health care groups including the San Francisco-based Pacific Business Group on Health have published similar grids in the past. But the data was often incomplete or not equivalent across plans because of different reporting methods.
