The National Association of Farm Broadcasters, St. Paul, Minn., hires Terri Weldele-Orecchia as the new National Farm Broadcast Service manager. Weldele-Orecchia was previously farm director at KEYL, Long Prairie, Minn. Additionally, NFBS NFBS - Need for Better Speed (online racing information site) is in the process of relocating from its current offices in Wayne, Neb., to NAFB NAFB - National Association of Farm Broadcasters
NAFB - Nellis Air Force Base (Nevada)
NAFB - Norton Air Force Base (California)
's offices in St. Paul. Brian James, who has been with NFBS since December, will be joining Weldele-Orecchia in the St. Paul office.

Farm Journal Electronic Media Co., Lafayette Ind., adds Erica Goss as national reporter for its production operations. Goss has covered agriculture for television stations in Oklahoma and Texas. Most recently, she was a regional agriculture reporter for Clear Channel Ag Network.

Joel DeMent, sales manager for the American Ag/Dakota News Networks, Pierre, S.D., passed away unexpectedly in mid-September. DeMent, 66, is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of 46 years.
