MEDCROSS REACHES AGREEMENT, ENTERS MEDICAL WASTE DISPOSAL ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Medcross, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: MDCR) announced today that the company has reached agreement with Medical SafeTec to seek an Asian partner to develop a manufacturing and distribution network in the Far East for Medical SafeTec's medical waste disposal systems. Medical SafeTec is headquartered in Indianapolis.
Medcross President Robert M. Irvin said that representatives from Medcross Asia, Ltd., the company's wholly owned subsidiary, are holding discussions with companies located in the Peoples Republic of China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Once the Far East company has been selected, it is planned that Medcross Asia, Ltd. will become a partner, along with Medical SafeTec, in the new venture. Irvin also said that the patented medical waste disposal systems designed by Medical SafeTec should be well received in the Far Eastern market. A number of the systems have been installed and are operating in Japan.
