 MEDCROSS EXPECTS 1991 LOSS
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/--Medcross, Inc.,

(NASDAQ: MDCR) said today that it expects to report a loss of as much as $400,000 for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 1991. Revenues for the year are expected to total about $2.4 million.
Medcross President Robert M. Irvin said the exact results will be announced in March when the annual audit of the company's operations is completed.
Two major factors contributing to the 1991 loss were unprofitable computerized tomography (CT) operations and a one-time write-off of all expenses and investments related to previous marketing of gallstone lithotripsy partnerships, Irvin said. He noted that the company has now sold all but one of its mobile CT scanners.
Irvin said that the transaction announced earlier to bring $2 million of new capital into Medcross is almost completed. He said final details are being worked out with the new investment group.
Medcross owns and operates equipment and facilities that employ the latest medical diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
