" is an adaptation by Jorge Ramos Zepeda that has not been altered in text or in its stage adaptation. It isn't fed by political allusions or jokes in poor taste. Its stage presentation is a pretext in order to preserve our traditions, aside from acting as a healthy diversion for children and adults during the holiday season. The original text was reduced to one hour and original songs have been added, as well as folk dances from Michoacan resulting in a musical Christmas Story, full of color, light and happiness.

Brief Curriculum of Serendipity Theatre Troupe

Since 1967 Jorge Ramos Zepeda has adapted, acted and directed this Pastorela The pastorela is a poetic genre used by the troubadours, which was the genesis of the pastourelle. It concerns the meeting of a knight with a shepherdess, which may lead to any of a number of possible conclusions. They are usually humorous pieces.  or Christmas Story. In 1978 his first professional pastorela made its debut in the theatre of Mexico City, while funding and directing his own theatre company called Serendipity. The pastorela as done by Serendipity has been awarded by the Theater of Mexico in 1995, in 1996 it won in the Hispano-American Festival of Pastorelas in Mexico City, it has traveled throughout the Mexican countryside to various cities. It has been performed in Houston, Texas in 1990, four times in Laredo, Texas as well as twice in Austin and Brownsville. In Mexico City it was performed in the University Museum of el Chopo, in Claustro del Teatro Helenco, Chopin Hall, University Cultural Center, Anglo-Mexican institute of Culture, Benito Juarez Theatre. Alameda Central, Ateneo Espanol and has been transmitted through such channels as Televisa, Cablevision, and through cable into the interior of the Mexican Republic.
