MDTV to Provide DIRECTV to Another New Trammell Crow Residential Community.

MDU Communications (USA) Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of MDU Communications International, Inc. (OTC:MDTV), has entered into a marketing, installation and service agreement to provide DIRECTV(R) digital satellite television programming to another Trammell Crow Residential Services (TCRS) managed community - the 110 unit Parkview Gardens in Tyler, Texas.

TCRS, a national leader in the multi-family residential market, manages over 65,000 units and proactively seeks out the most appropriate services for their communities, which include premium telecommunications services. "Parkview Gardens' residents expect the best services available, such as DIRECTV. Construction on Parkview Gardens should be complete soon, with residents moving in starting April, so it made sense to bring in MDU Communications right away to install DIRECTV service in Parkview Gardens," stated Sherry Chumley, District Manager with TCRS.

This is the second new construction TCRS community to which MDTV will be providing DIRECTV programming and the third property being deployed in Texas. "Texas is becoming a very promising and profitable market for us," said Helen Chee, Marketing Director for MDU Communications (USA) Inc. "Currently, MDTV is the sole provider to Parkview Gardens, so without competition from other providers, MDTV can quickly exceed its average subscriber penetration rates with minimal acquisition marketing and focus instead on service and upselling programming. The average DIRECTV subscriber spends approximately $59 a month on programming, and due to our relationship with DIRECTV, upselling programming will increase our revenues."
