MDL Information Systems Inc. Announces Record Results Of $17.4 Million Revenues And EPS Of $0.45 For Third Quarter.

Metal, wood, and paper products; chemicals; leather goods; foods and beverages; medical equipment; lighting fixtures; and , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 1996--MDL Information Systems Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:MDLI MDLI Molecular Design Limited ), today announced revenues of $17.4 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1995, a 17% increase over the $14.9 million reported in the same period in 1994.

Net income was $4.2 million or $0.45 per share for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1995, increases of 100% and 73%, respectively, over the $2.1 million or $0.26 per share reported in the same period in 1994. The results reported for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1994, included a $1.4 million or $0.17 per share charge associated with the acquisition of OHS on Oct. 1, 1994.
