MDEChem, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MDKM) through its President and CEO, Frank DeFalco commented today on the recently concluded SAE "Clean Snowmobile Contest" held in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and 10 other environmental organizations were instrumental in setting up and coordinating the CSC, which included entries from a number of universities & colleges from the U.S.A. and Canada. The snowmobile teams were judged in nine categories all relating to emissions, noise, and fuel economy. Thirteen of the participating 15 universities/colleges choose to use four cycle engines due to their "supposed inherent" benefits, while just two utilized a two-cycle engine, one being the University of Waterloo. The results surprised many...The UW team placed first in Best Performance, Best Fuel Economy, Most Practical Winner, Best Value Winner, and Hill Climb Champion. The UW team was the only team to use Blue Marble Oil and was awarded a $5000 first place prize by the EPA.
