Corporation of Toronto today announced that its Ambrose Carr Linton Kelly unit has won two important new assignments from the Harvey's division of Cara Operations Limited and from Honda automobiles on behalf of Honda Canada Inc.

In the case of Harvey's, ACLK ACLK Auxiliary Clock  is re-assuming responsibility for an account it had from 1981 until 1993, when it was awarded to another agency. The annual advertising budget for the Harvey's Division exceeds $10 million. ACLK also handles advertising for Cara's Swiss Chalet restaurants -- an assignment it assumed in 1980. ACLK has enjoyed a relationship with Honda since 1980 when it won the Acura account -- and will now handle advertising for both Honda and Acura. Planned advertising expenditures for Honda in 1996 were not disclosed.

Under the leadership of Esme Carroll, recently appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, Ambrose Carr Linton Kelly is mounting an aggressive and systematic program of business development.

"These new assignments are significant because of their size and because they reflect longstanding and productive working relationships with both client companies," said Michel Frappier, President of MDC's Marketing and Communications Services Division. "We expect to see further growth for Ambrose Carr and other companies in our division in the coming months."

MDC Corporation is a publicly traded multi-disciplined communications organization with a strong record of growth through three divisions: Security and Specialty Printing, Direct Marketing and Home Shopping, and Communications and Marketing Services.
